Graduate Programs

Dr. Yellen is affiliated with the Harvard PhD Program in Neuroscience, and also with the Harvard Biophysics PhD Program and the Harvard PhD Program in Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS). All of these admit students to the program in general, without admission to an individual lab. After enrollment in the program, students do several lab rotations before deciding on a lab (depending on the availability of space in the advisor's lab, and the permission of the advisor). Students in any of the Harvard Integrated Life Sciences (HILS) graduate programs can elect to work in any HILS-associated lab, with permission.
